Quick release mooring hook has two parallel side walls (3,4) with a casing (2). A hook (9) is swivel mounted between the walls on a first hinge bearing (12). A lid (28) is swivel mounted between working position and release position on second hinge bearing (35). A release bolt (42) with a first cut (43) is swivel mounted between release position and working position between the walls. The hook is swivel mounted between the walls with a hooknose (10) on one side and a lever (11) on the other side of the bearing shaft of first hinge bearing and an attachment (26,27) on the liver. The lid has a first bearing surface (33,34) for the attachment.
