The crane, especially a mobile harbour crane, has a winch to accommodate ropes, electric lines, or cables. The winch is a hydraulically operated winch with a constant output torque or with a variably constant output torque. The winch may serve for the holding of one or more power supply lines. The crane has load holding means or other auxiliary equipment which are connected to a power supply unit. The winch is driven by a hydraulic motor (60) which is operated in different directions of rotation.
