A small bag containing the coffee powder is positioned on top of a holding element (1) in the shape of a shallow bowl with an outlet (2) at the bottom. The water is pressed through the coffee powder and a filter mesh (9) underneath into a nozzle (5) with laterally positioned air suction holes towards the outlet. A step located between the suction holes and the outlet serves as an impact surface resulting in an intensive motion and mixing of the fluid with the sucked-in air.
