The card has chip modules that are arranged on a switching card with a semiconductor crystal disk. The modules and passive component units are attached with the semiconductor crystal disk. Grooves are formed along a cut area to enable a direct cutting of edges (R) and corners of the memory card. The switching card is trimmed by a unique punching procedure and the straight and curved edges are trimmed by a laser cutting.
