The steering lock for a bicycle has in the fork tube (11) and handlebar shaft (12) at the level of passages (111) for a locking bolt additional passages for the solid end of a steel cable inseparably connected by its other end to the frame of the bicycle. The solid end of the steel cable has a recess into which fits the locking bolt of the cylinder lock when the solid end of the cable has passed through the fork tube and protrudes into the handlebar shaft.
