A sun tanning tunnel has a lightweight portable design with a tunnel shaped fabric cover (1-2) stretched over sectional flexible ribs which form hoops at both ends of the tunnel and which are linked by at least three parallel longditudinal ribs. The ribs are located through seams and have an interlocking design. The tunnel fabric includes transparent panels with defined UVA/UVB filter protection as well as IR reflection. The whole structure can be dismantled and rolled into a compact pack.
