Parallel floatation chambers (16) are joined together by cross members (17,18), which in turn are joined together via plate-like elements. A seat (20) and a paddle working area (21) are defined between and outside the cross members, respectively. The ratio in lengths of the cross member and floatation chamber is 1:4 to 1:2. Each chamber is formed of two walled fabric filled with air.
