The trailer coupling (2), especially for a bicycle trailer, is attached to the rear fork end (4) of the frame and has a first and a second coupling element (14,16) each with a fastening hole (26) and attached on both sides of the rear end of the frame. The coupling elements are constructed in such a way that on each of them a connecting component (32a,32b) is fastened in the axial direction (S). At least for one of the connecting components an axial compensating movement on the respective coupling elements is made possible. An independent claim is included for a bicycle trailer with the aforesaid trailer coupling.
