The bench has a machine base (3) on which a tailstock, an attachment and a motor with speed regulation are arranged. A motor controlled tool (5) is freely guided or if required arranged on the machine base. The bench is operated with low or high rotary frequencies and with the motor controlled tool for processing work pieces. The work pieces are processed with the motor controlled tool in all axes during the standstill of the machine.
