The acetabulum has multiple slots (2) radially arranged in a pole area (P) of an outer canopy, where the slots are aligned with the implantation direction. A spacer (3) is arranged in the pole area of the canopy, where the height (H) of the spacer specifies the maximum thickness of the cement layer between the acetabulum and the outer canopy. A radially distant truss (5) is provided in an equatorial area of base edge.
