The box (10) has a housing (11) with a cylindrical collecting receptacle (20) for a coin. A spring is arranged on a base of the collecting receptacle turned away from an outer surface (12) of the housing for pressing the coin at a coin-block. The coin-block is arranged at a side of the collecting receptacle facing the outer surface of the housing. The housing is completely made from a metal, preferably an aluminum alloy.
