The drilling rack has a displaceable drill press mounting plate for receiving a drill press, and a setting frame for setting the drilling rack on a workpiece (13). A setting aid (17) is attached to the setting frame. The setting aid has a projection (19) arranged over the setting frame to limit drill bit lead-through (23) of the setting aid in the extension of a drill axle (21). An independent claim is also included for the setting aid used in the drilling rack.
