The multifunctional tape measure (10) has a housing in which an extendable tape measure (12) is arranged, and a light emitter for sending light (27a) towards the tape measure or in a direction opposite the extension direction of the tape measure. A fastener (13) is provided for attaching the tape measure in a holder.
