A method for securing bundles of lengths of wood has a pair of circular brackets (1) comprising interlocking halves (9, 10) which are clipped to the sides of a support tray (2) via interlocking profiles (11, 12) and whose free ends are secured by an upper locking catch (15). The user erects the brackets at each end of the support tray and feeds lengths of wood into the brackets. The top of the brackets has a raised profile (13, 14) to ease the loading of the final wood lengths. After tying the bundle the brackets are simply unclipped and the bundle removed by fork lift or by tipping the tray to either side.
