The counter has a generator module (10) attached between a rotor and a case to supply electrical power for a collection unit, when the rotor is in rotation. The unit generates a signal based on acquisition of number of rotation of the rotor. A wireless transfer module (40) determines the total number of rotations based on the signal and transfers data to a wireless receiver which converts the received data into output signal.
