The stair case has a side wall (3) connected to existing building parts. Lateral edges of the side wall include an elastic sound absorbing material (4), where the side wall is rested against building shelf walls (1) or finished walls. A step tread (2) of a basic structure is screwed to the rested side wall. The sound absorbing material is applied using related flat foam such as moisture-hardening polyurethane pre-polymers.
