The fan (42) and fluid pump (27) assembly has an electric drive motor (21) which has a stator (22) with a stator winding (23) constructed to generate a rotational field. In association with the stator are a permanently magnetic outer rotor (48) and a permanently magnetic inner rotor (26) for the driving of the fluid pump. The inner rotor is separated from the stator by a magnetically transparent component (24) which separates the inner rotor fluid tight from the outer rotor.
