The extruder has a body, which receives a screw driven by a drive mechanism, and a feeder channel for a thermo plastic material. A heating section melts the thermoplastic material supplied by the channel at a plasticizing temperature. A cooling section (10) is provided in the region, proximity to the channel, in which cutting edge of the screw is arranged. A feeder screw thread extends into a hole provided for the channel.
