The device has a profile sensor (3) arranged on a base plate (6) for detecting sections of contact surfaces of wheel disks (1b). Another sensor (4) is arranged nearby a middle plane of each wheel set for measuring concentricity deviation of center section of a shaft. Sensors (5) are arranged for measuring concentricity deviation of side piece of the shaft. The sensors (4, 5) are optical sensors.
