The device has an oil collecting container (1) with a supporting rod (2) for height-adjustably holding an oil capturing tray (3). The rod is connected with a nozzle (32) at its upper ends. The nozzle has a sided-connection which is brought in communication with inflow nozzles (12, 14) of the container. A vacuum pump (4) produces negative pressure in the container, where the nozzle (12) has a control valve for its opening or closing.
