The light has a housing with a carrier body for LED light sources (7, 8), which is operated by an LED driver (3). An electronic operating hour meter (9) is integrated into the housing. The meter determines and stores the value of the elapsed operating hour of the LED light sources. An alarm is triggered when a threshold, which depends on current and operating temperature of the LED light sources, is exceeded.
