u The station has a drying mechanism, an inlet and an outlet (2a, 2b), containing a drying agent with a natural gas pipeline (3), attached at the inlet and outlet. The weight of the drying agent (5) or the drying mechanism (2) is dependent on the saturation point measured by means of a load cell (6) and the measured value of an indicating and or evaluation mechanism (8) is provided. The load cell is designed as a pressure balancing cell. The indicating and or evaluation mechanism produces an alert, if the weight of the drying agent or the drying mechanism crosses a limit value.
