An industrial cutting punch (10) has a guide sleeve (12) around a punch driver (16) and punch tool (14) that are linked by end-threads that serve to adjust the exact presentation of the cutting tool to the work piece. The tool angle is fixed by a lock but axially free within the sleeve. The lock also defines the angle between sleeve and punch driver.
