The padded support (10) is based on a long main section (11) of textile. An enclosure (12) is integrally-constructed with the textile, to form a reception space (121). This contains and secures a filling (122), which reduces pressure from the bra strap. Open buckles (20) allow connection of the main section (11) to the bra strap and allow the pad to be moved along the strap. In variants of the attachment method, the open buckles are replaced by small strips of material securely fastened to two opposite sides of the main section (11). Alternatively the connection is made using a plastic resin joined to the main section and to the material.
