The support bracket for mounting at a wall (15), e.g. to support a flower pot, has a screw anchor (1) with a section (3) in the longitudinal direction (10) with an out-of-round cross section and especially polygonal. The shelf (2), to support the flower pot, has a recess in its under side which matches the cross section shape of the screw anchor section. The shelf also has two projecting tongues (8a,8b) extending downwards from the shelf plane (7).
