The manually remotely-controllable, self-propelling container has an electric drive unit, a receiver unit which receives control commands/signals from a manually operated remote control unit not connected to the container and transmits these to the drive unit. At least one camera (1) is attached to the container and its pictures are transmitted to a screen, whereby views from various angles of vision are possible. The remote control unit has a capability for the switching over of the camera views.
