The weather protection hood (1) for a pushchair, buggy or suchlike comprises a frame which has at least one round curved strut (4) movable in relation to the rest of the frame, and a cover (3) laid over the frame. The first strut is connected to the rest of the frame via at least one elastic element which pretensions the first strut in an end position. A draw cord (9) is adjustably fastened to the frame and/or to the cover to hold the first strut in an adjusted position. An independent claim is included for a pushchair with a weather protection hood according to the invention.
