The cladding panels, for a building, are profiled with a groove to be attached to the sub-structure and fastened by a clip. The clip has a U-shape, with elastic legs (5) which can be spread outwards. The free ends of the legs have ratchet projections (6) to grip into folds (7) at both sides of the sub-structure bar, on the side away from the cladding. At least one L-shaped holding strap (8) projects from the rear side of the U-profile to grip into the groove of the cladding panel, together with at least one pin (9) to be beaten into the panel for fixing.
