The aid has a molded groove (1) to retain a closing flap of a cardboard beverage package by insertion in the aid. The aid is made up of material such as plastic, composite material, ceramic, metal, wood, wood fiber material or glass. A vertically adjustable support plate (2) is provided to hold another closing flap of the package. A molded gripping loop (3) is fastened to the aid, and a recess is provided for a pouring system.
