The lamp has LEDs (13e1, 13e2, 13e3) controllable and activatable by a signal line, and an electrically erasable programmable read only memory (EEPROM) (22e). The EEPROM registers a data set describing characteristics of the LEDs, where the data set contains an information about a maximum, measured luminous flux, measured light color, light wavelength, exactly measured spectrum of light and temperature-dependent behavior of the LEDs. An independent claim is also included for a device for controlling a lamp with two different colored LEDs.
