The water system includes a circulation line (11) for the hot water tank (4), which if the main heating system fails, can be connected to the input of an electric water heater (6). The output of this heater is connected to the hot water outlet (5) of the hot water tank, so that water goes directly from the circulation line via the electric heater and thence via the tank outlet line to the hot water tank or directly to the taps. The hot water tank also has a cold water inlet (3).
