The wire drawing machine is composed of a number of successive modules (I-IV) in the direction of wire (1) travel. The leading section has a number of wire-drawing dies (8,12) and rotating wire-drawing disks (7,11) with toothed gear drives for each module in a trailing space. Each module has its own electromotor. At least one module has three drawing stages and at least one other module has four drawing stages, with a drawing die and disk for each stage.
