The guide arrangement for shading or insect protection elements for windows, doors and openings comprises a movable bracket (1) provided with cross-over guide grooves for cables (18) and (19) fixed respectively at points (12, 13) and (10, 11). Alternatively a single endless cable system can be used to produce the same effect. An independent claim is also included for an application of the proposed guide arrangement in shading or insect protection elements on windows, doors and skylights in motor vehicles and trailers.
