The built-on device (2) for a commercial vehicle (1), such as a tractor, incorporates a carrier (4) mounted on it. The carrier is vertically pivotable for incorporation of a work apparatus (3). The carrier is selectively raisable or lowerable by means of at least one hydraulic cylinder (9). The built-on device has a basic carrier (5) fixed to the commercial vehicle. On the basic carrier the work apparatus carrier is pivotable located.
