The rigid bronchoscope has an integrated light conductor and lateral ventilation slits arranged in three axial rows and extending over 8 cm. One row of the slits lies on a line with a jet nozzle. The other two rows of slits lie at a radial angle of approximately 170 to 190 degrees to the first row and adjacent to the light conductor. An independent claim is also included for a rigid bronchoscope without an integrated light conductor.
