The gap between the walls of a furniture niche in a kitchen cell or similar and an apparatus installed in the niche is covered by a profile, whose housing outer covering at least partly has sections of ferromagnetic material. The covering profile (26) at least sectionally has permanent magnets, which hold the covering profile to the ferromagnetic sections of the housing outer covering (23). The covering profile at least approximately has a T-shaped cross-section and at least on its T-leg is provided with the permanent magnets. The T-leg of the covering profile is formed in the manner of a hose, which surrounds the strip-shaped permanent magnets.
