An assembly generates biogas and consists of several rooms (6, 10, 12, 15, 16, 17) within a building (1). The first room (6) operates as the biogas reactor (BG) envelope and a second room is the envelope of a biogas storage bladder (BS). The building incorporates a third room (12) with an electric generator fuelled by biogas. The building is a three-storey structure in which the first room is on the ground floor and the other rooms on the first and second floors. The building is constructed of steel reinforced concrete. The biogas generator has a paddle wheel combined mixer and shredder wheel.
