A set of electric contacts (4) is provided on the base of a cup (1) and connected to the electric heating component (3) of the cup. A set of magnets (5) is provided in a cup holder (2) such that the magnets can be attracted to the electric contacts of the cup with a magnetic force to form a connection when the cup is mated and received in the cup holder.
