- method for determining by simulating the optimum conditions for the stabilization of a separation system with the simulated moving bed (smb) making it possible to obtain the desired values for the purity of a constituent extracted and to the efficiency - in order to determine the flow rate of recycling, the flows of fluids injected and the rate of flow of fluids drawn off in order to obtain the optimal set values, a single simulation composed of a succession of steps of the grinding of the flows of fluids at intervals of time of limited duration (t), each comprising, at the end of each time interval, a comparison of the degrees of purity and of the respective efficiencies obtained as a result of situations from simulations on a time interval (deltar) where the adjustments which are applied to at least one flow rate with those of a situation of the reference end of a simulation on the same time interval, but without rectification of the flow rate, followed by a selection of the flow rates in order to minimize the quantity of impurities in the extract and the quantity of the constituent in the raffinate. - application to the optimization of systems for the separation of hydrocarbons, for example.
