PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable gas alarm easily constituted as a small-size one convenient in carrying, and having high convenience for use.;SOLUTION: The portable gas alarm comprises a gas alarm main body having a casing flat as a whole, and a member for mounting provided on the casing for mounting the main body on a body. The gas alarm main body includes a circuit board for control extending in a flat surface direction in the casing, a display mechanism provided in a center area on a front surface side of the circuit board for control, a gas sensor and a buzzer for alarm arranged on both left and right sides, and a battery loading chamber provided on a rear surface side of the circuit board. A vibration generator for alarm is preferably provided on the gas alarm main body. The member for carrying is preferably one for mounting the gas alarm main body on a wrist or clothes of a person.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
