The MCP/FCU (30) interface for controlling the automatic pilot (13) and/or flight director (14) is provided with an access port which is linked to the ATN terminal (2) by means of a digital information transmission link (4) and provided with display means displaying commands for modifying trajectory issued by the air control authorities and validation means imposing upon the automatic pilot (13) and/or flight director (14) the functional mode and instructions corresponding to a command for modifying trajectory which has been accepted by the pilot.
