Provision of services for reservation of resources within a network of a management of resources by the method of the policy

The method involves selecting a resource satisfying a role of a network corresponding to a requested service, from NEQ and NEL network resources. A processing role related to the requested service is associated to the selected resource. Policy rules defining the network role that relates to the processing role are determined to transmit the rules to the selected resource for managing the resource. An independent claim is also included for a resource management system for a communication network.
