The network unit has input and output connectors (11-15, 21-23), each including connection pins that contact with corresponding pins of respective input and output sockets (101-105, 201-203). A group of pins of the input connectors are connected to a group of pins of the output connectors through passive units that are formed by conductors (P1-P5) of a printed circuit board on which the input and the output connectors are assembled. An independent claim is also included for an active electronic device including active and passive interfaces and processing audio/video signals.
