The method involves connecting digitization apparatuses in a chain using STP/UTP cables. The cables include cable pairs (RX, TX) that enable a broadband digital data connection based on 100baseTX Ethernet protocol and IEEE 802.3u standard. Two other cable pairs (FE, TRIG) form low bandwidth connection lines based on EIA RS 485 standard to transmit sampling rate and start pulse of digital signals. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) a digitization apparatus to be connected by a cabling method (B) a utilization of a cabling method in a noise and vibration measurement system having digitization apparatuses.
