The turret has a motor unit (9) and a driving unit that comprises of sets of cables (8A, 8B), where the motor and driving units rotate the turret. Each cable has ends fixed on a double acting jack (9A) and on a part that is integrated with a rotation axle (6). Hooking points of the cables are situated at the left and at the right of a median point. The hooking points of the cables are spaced from grooves. An independent claim is also included for a vehicle for transporting concrete and including a turret.
