The bicycle has an user-interface case, a sensor, a display device (12) and a starting circuit that are supplied from a battery (7) by secondary windings (13d, 13e) of a flyback transformer. The transformer has a secondary winding (13c) for delivering energy to an electrical motor (6). A control circuit (17) selectively allows or prohibits passage of the energy in a primary winding (13a) of the transformer.
