The duct has reinforcement units which are provided in the form of a skeleton line (7) that is made of thermoplastic material. The reinforcement units are embedded within the thickness of a hollow body and have side rails (8) extending along the length of the hollow body. The units have struts (9) which are spaced and arranged in transversal manner between the side rails.
