The device has a control block with two hydraulic control pistons connected together and connected to a blocking control of a hydropneumatic cylinder of a maintenance block. The cylinder is unlocked during the coupling after attaining desired height to block a coupler in position. The coupler is automatically returned to its initial position during uncoupling, using a retaining cam (13).
