The method involves collecting data delivered by telecommunication equipments (E1-En ) of access points and/or applications stored in a telecommunications network. The collected data is converted into a format compatible with data processing modules communicating with the network. The converted data is filtered based on their nature, by applying decision rules. The filtered data is delivered towards processing modules (M1-M5). Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) a computer program stored on a medium for implementing a data collection method (B) a data collection system including data conversion unit.
