The method involves generating a message based on an action to be executed and encrypting the message by a secret parameter. The encrypted message is transmitted and stored in a receiver. A description of the parameter is transmitted to the receiver at a time chosen by an operator. The encrypted message stored in the receiver is decrypted using the secret parameter and the message is processed for executing the action in the receiver. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) a computer program executed in a receiving terminal cooperating with a security processor for controlling access to digital data distributed by an operator (B) a digital data transmission system having receiving terminals.
